Excellent ! Kris is on to something here ... Eating is a lot more than just calorie counting. To be successful with reaching your weight loss goals and maintaining for LIFE. You need to take a lifestyle approach and Kris has it all in this book. I would recommend this book to anyone!
Always some new info to learn
This book taught me a valuable lesson that you loose weight in the same method that you would need to use to keep the weight off. The maintenance program is really key to ensuring my success in being the best possible me. Making sure I do not gain the weight back is really what Kris' plan has reinforced with me. Kris you captured the real struggles perfectly. So honored to call you my coach in this journey.
WOW!! This book was phenomenal; I managed to finish it in only a few hours! The way it was written keeps you captivated right from the start (see the preview if you don’t believe me). I highly recommend this book to anyone who has been struggling with their weight. I tried so many mainstream diets and I would lose a few pounds then gain it back AND MORE!! NO diet has ever discussed how to lose the weight and keep it off for good but this book explains the answer we’ve all been wishing we knew from the start!! I am so excited to begin this way of dieting tomorrow morning as I believe it is the new solution to shedding those unwanted pounds!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
I think the author only included the word "diet" in the title solely for marketing purposes. This is more than a diet book. He's not giving you a list of a bunch of foods to eat and then some exercises to do and then you lose weight. You can find lots of books on that. He gives you the guidelines to release your weight and to keep it off. And he gives you strategies to deal with the issues and challenges that can delay or sabotage weight release like stress, lack of sleep, and being overwhelmed. Kris realizes that we don't become overweight by chance. We are drawn to food because food acts as a substitute to fill the holes we may have in our life. He even says you need to commit for two years to release the weight and keep it off! Who does that? This is a great value for a small investment of $2.99. I just finished the book today and will institute his program. I'll update over time.
