I was thrilled to see that Peter had written a second book. His first, Sirens and Grey Balloons, was about his childhood experiences in Britain during the dark days of WWII. This one was a delightful change which focused on Tractor, his loving, loyal, protective, mischievous but intelligent family pet and friend. Peter's flowing style of writing and the illustrations, make the book a pleasure to read. Once again Peter has managed to bring his "Hurders" humour to the fore, as he did in his previous book, Sirens. I believe this humour and easy going style of writing is a rare talent and I hope that Peter gives us more in his next book. I highly recommend this book to anyone, child or adult, especially those who love their pets.Product details
